Personality: A silent and watchful figure stands outside all activity. It is Pilgrim, the lone guardian of the herd. Never the centre of attention, and not wishing to be one either, he is extremely intelligent and dynamic, full of power. Pilgrim is a born leader, but not one to step into the light and take charge, preferring instead to work behind the scenes, silently manipulating the behavior of others. He is always looking out to improve the life quality of others, and if he has some personal motivations, they never get in the way of the good of the herd.

Pilgrim is empathetic and good at understanding the emotions of others - but at the same time he himself stays cold and distant. Some would say he is full of himself, which would necessarily not be untrue. Chooses his company, and does not show his emotions openly. Pilgrim is very brave and honorable.

Easy to handle, calm but indifferent. He does what is expected of him for any person, but is slow to form emotional bonds, and quick in his first impressions. If he decides you are not worthy, you cannot sway his opinion. For his chosen few, he is the most hard working, fearless mount. Pilgrim is willing to do pretty much anything, only the ambition of his rider being the true limit of what he can be made do. Not the cuddling type, prefers hard, fast paced action to the slowness of daily life.

Not very social, and mostly just gets annoyed if other horses insist on approaching him. Is not aggressive, just hesitant to form social contacts, and prefers to be left alone. Very protective of others. Not a herd mentality, and will not follow the herd if something happens, usually staying behind to investigate the ordeal closer. Does not really care for mares, either, almost acts like a gelding.
